China-Japan Symposium on Visual Computing

The purpose of the China-Japan Symposium on Visual Computing is to provide a common meeting place at Changsha (湖南大学复临舍报告厅), sponsored by CCF, NSFC, Hunan University and NISL, CCF in Hunan, and JSPS, for scientists and researchers in China and in Japan to share their most recent research findings, ideas and developments in the broad area of visual computing, including:

  • Computer vision
  • Computer graphics
  • Virtual reality
  • Medical image analysis
  • Visualization

The Symposium will include 6 keynote presentations (by Xilin Chen, Kunihiro Chihara, Tomoyuki Nishita, Long Quan, Yoichi Sato, Kun Zhou) and 14 invited presentations, addressing the major aspects of visual computing. Further discussions after the Symposium will be organized at Zhangjiajie from September 19-21. In addition to the Symposium, there will be a YOCSEF meeting.
